Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma welcome baby boy, reveal his name

Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma on Tuesday announced the birth of their second child.

“With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay/ अकाय & Vamika’s little brother into this world!” Kohli said in an Instagram post.

“We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time,” the batting superstar added.

Kohli’s post broke the social media, raking in nearly three million views at the time of publishing this story.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma had tied the knot in 2017. The actor had taken a sabbatical from films after the release of her 2018 flick ‘Zero’ in which she scared the screen space with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The couple had become parents to daughter Vamika in 2021.
